If you need needles and tubes sent to you for blood sample collection, download our Supply Order Form and fax or email it back to us. Once you’ve received your supplies, download our Bovine Testing Instructions document for information on how to collect, label, and ship your samples in to us.
Once you have your samples collected and labeled- please download and complete our Test Submission Form to include with your shipment into the lab.
It is not necessary to ship samples on ice. However, if you plan to hold samples before shipping, store samples in the refrigerator. If you plan to hold skin samples more than 2 days, freeze the samples until they are shipped.
Tubes should be secured and packed with an absorbent material or layered with bubble wrap. It is not necessary to individually wrap each tube. Pack tubes in a box. Tubes shipped in padded envelopes may be flattened in postal equipment. The exterior of the box should be marked “Exempt Animal Specimen.
We have no preference. We routinely receive samples from USPS, UPS and Fed Ex. For your convenience, we have pre-printed Fed Ex labels that bill charges to our account. We will invoice you for the actual shipping charge when we bill for your tests.
